About Stagecoach Galleries - Salado, TX
Thomas Kinkade Stagecoach Galleries is located in beautiful downtown Salado Texas. Owned and operated by Richard and Marguerite Kaminski. Richard has always been fascinated with art and in particular, paintings. He has gathered quite an art collection over the years, which gives him the experience necessary to assist his customers.
Richard and Marguerite have enjoyed selling Thomas Kinkade for many years and have helped experienced and inexperienced men and women find the right piece to compliment their homes and offices. They don't end the customer relationship at the completed sale, they work with you long after it's hung on your wall.
At this Thomas Kinkade Gallery you come in as a customer and you leave as a friend. Don't take my word for it, come on by and see what everyone's bragging about. Now, let me tell you a bit of Salado's history....
The small town of Salado is home to many fine antique shops, art galleries, small gift shops and more. It became one of Texas' leading tourist attractions due to it's unique history.
Did you know that the Chisholm Trail came right up Main Street, and the stage lines that served Central Texas included Salado among their stops. Salado Creek has always been a mighty force in the history of this area and it was designated the first recorded Natural Landmark in Texas in 1966.
The revitalization of Salado began in the 1940s as the fame of the dining room of Stagecoach Inn spread. It continued with the founding of the Central Texas Area Museum in 1959 and the construction of the first new residential area, Mill Creek, in 1960. The many shops catering to visitors have led to the popularity of Salado. Today Salado has approximately 130 businesses of many kinds, adding to the charm of this small village.
With all this history it's no wonder that people come from far away just to see Salado. While there here they have plenty to do with the many shops and all.
